Determining the nature of an abnormality through clinical assessment and, when needed, further tests.
A sign with several possible causes. It deserves assessment but is not, by itself, a diagnosis.
An X-ray examination of the breasts used for screening or to investigate a sign.
Imaging with sound waves, often used alongside mammography depending on the context.
A sample examined in a laboratory when the nature of an abnormality needs clarification.
Throughout the month, we will address misconceptions, tests, living through care, possibilities after surgery and other people’s gaze. Always with the same intention: to inform without erasing the woman behind the illness.
