A useful document identifies the operation, surgeon, anaesthesia, clinic fees, implants or garments where relevant, medicines, checks and taxes. Travel, accommodation and transfers should be separated from medical fees.
Compare equivalent proposals
Two totals cannot be compared if techniques, devices, hospital stay or follow-up differ. Ask for clarification in writing and compare what happens if the procedure changes after examination.
Plan for excluded and unexpected costs
Laboratory tests, additional nights, companion expenses, medicines after discharge and care after returning may be excluded. Ask how an unexpected postponement or additional observation is handled.

Why two quotations may not cover the same care
A lower total does not necessarily mean the same procedure costs less. Technique, operating time, anaesthesia, inpatient nights, tests, medical devices and aftercare may differ. Compare the exact scope line by line, then connect each item to verifiable medical or logistical information.

Costs commonly outside the headline total
Flights, insurance, companion expenses, meals, additional tests, medicines after discharge, extra nights, ticket changes and further consultations are not always included. Separate a planned expense from one triggered by medical judgement. Ask how a longer stay would be recalculated.
“From” is an indication, not an individual quotation
A “from” price may reflect a minimum configuration and may not account for examination findings, medical history, final technique or combined procedures. An individual document should state currency, validity, deposit, postponement and cancellation terms, plus inclusions. RJMed does not publish isolated prices unless they can be tied to a defined scope, observation period and transparent method.
Compare without trading away safety
Cost is legitimate information, but it follows identification of the surgeon, cosmetic surgery clinic, anaesthesia and aftercare. Urgent discounts, payment to an unidentified beneficiary or refusal to provide a written breakdown are reasons for caution. A useful comparison verifies what is medically planned, contractually included and available if circumstances change.
